The Virtumonde Remover will neutralize all Virtumonde targets running on a scanned system. The remover tool will not quarantine files; it will only make sure that files are no longer running and that they will not restart when you reboot your computer.

Anyone that suspects they are infected with Virtumonde should use this program. One clue that your computer may be infected is that you are getting a high amount of pop-ups.

How does it work?– Download the Virtumonde Remover.– Extract the zip archive. Double-click the .exe file to activate the remover tool.– Accept the EULA. – Choose Scan. If any targets are found you will be asked to neutralize. If you wish to do this, select Neutralize. Once this is complete, the program will check if a reboot is recommended, and if so, you will have the option to do so immediately.

Note: If you wish to completely remove the files, use Ad-Aware SE after neutralizing all targets.
