About SilverKeeper for Mac

SilverKeeper is a freeware application from LaCie that automates backups to external storage devices like hard drives, and other removable storage devices that have IDE, ATA/ATAPI, SCSI, USB, or FireWire interfaces.

Essentially any read/write device that can mount a writeable volume on the Macintosh Desktop can be used with SilverKeeper.

SilverKeeper is compatible with OS 9.2.2, OS X 10.2.8, 10.3.9, and OS X 10.4.x up to and including 10.4.11. This includes the PowerPC and Intel based Macintosh computers.

Special note for people upgrading to Leopard: v1.1.4 of SilverKeeper is not compatible with OS X 10.5.x, Leopard.
