You got to be logged in, in order to upload docs; if you don’t you will be transfered to the login page
This addon is easy to use and lightweight; it does what it’s supposed to, without setting up any preferences!
Once installed, you can easily right-click on any document (supported file formates below) and choose the context entry “Open in Google Docs”. While the document is being uploaded in the background (upload time may vary depending on the file size, response time of the server, and you connection speed) you can go on and do what you did. When upload is finished a new tab opens and shows you the document you loaded up.
