BusinessWeek is reporting that Verizon Wireless could partner with Apple to distribute two new “iPhone-like” devices. According to anonymous and unconfirmed tips, the devices could be seen as soon as this summer.
One device is a smaller, less expensive iPhone, described by one person who has seen it as an “iPhone lite.” The second is a larger Internet tablet-esque device that would allow users to watch video, listen to music, view photos and place calls over a WiFi network.
