This morning a couple of tweets by “OfficeTheMovieâ€Â, which has now been confirmed to be not coming from Microsoft (the Office 2010 Twitter account is @office2010themovie), got everyone all atwitter about the possibility of a Zune phone launch next month. @officethemovie just posted again, confirming the hoax.
The tweets, which first said that “June will be an important month for Zune loversâ€Â, and then “New product launch, that’s all I’m allowed to say. Hold off from buying an iPhone/Pre. :)â€Â, set off quite a flurry of Twitter activity, and blog posts by Gizmodo and EnGadget (both sites have updated posts debunking the rumors).
