Rumor: $1,500 Mac sub-notebook and 3G iPhone in 2008

CNBC’s Jim Goldman, who claims to have sources close to Apple’s Asian manufacturing partners, today reported that Apple will launch its much rumored sub-notebook at Macworld in January and that a new 3G iPhone is set to hit store shelves by late May or early June.
