About Rendera

is an open-source painting program for Windows. The tools, shapes, blenders, edge-wrapping, and cloning may all be combined to suit a particular need. The program is different in that brushstrokes are computed and rendered after being drawn. Some uses for Rendera include photo restoration, colorizing, making seamless tiles, etc. Since all memory handling is left to Windows, be sure to make a big fixed swapfile if you are going to work on gigantic images.

Bit depth is limited to 8-bits per channel. Indexed color is limited to 6-bits per channel, mainly because I can’t compute a full-precision lookup table in a reasonable amount of time. This is not ideal, but usually doesn’t matter.
