Microsoft readies 5 releases for Patch Tuesday

September’s infamous Patch Tuesday is on its way, bringing with it an expected five patches from Redmond. Microsoft has rated four of the five patches as “Critical” and the fifth as “Important”. The most serious flaws addressed are in MSN Messenger, including versions from 6 and 7 series as well as Windows Live Messenger. All of these are vulnerable to a remote code execution bug, as is Visual Studio.
