iPad Release Date, Price Confirmed

The iPad, Apple’s new-fangled tablet computer, will be hitting store shelves on April 3rd. The device combines the multi-function use of the iPod Touch (music, movies, web-browsing, gaming, so forth) but with a larger size and a higher resolution screen.

The version launching on April 3rd is WiFi enabled, while iPads with WiFi and 3G connectivity will be launching sometime in late April.
