Boston (DbTechNo) – Reading your favorite online newspaper may soon come with a price thanks to Google.
Google for years now, have been offering free content from newspapers from all corners of the world, a fact that has not been sitting well with big news outlets who blame Google for a significant loss of potential revenue.
Google announced plans to develop a micropayment system based on their Checkout service which would allow online papers to charge for viewing content.
