Disney has reached a deal with Hulu to buy a nearly 30% stake in the red-hot video service and put full episodes of ABC shows on the site, the Wall Street Journal is reporting (subscription).
Under the terms of the arrangement Disney would pump “a similar amount†of capital and marketing funds as NBC and News Corp., which started the venture in March last year with an initial investment of about $100 million, the WSJ reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
